Sleep Over at Carmen's

Since Carmen is leaving for Holland next week to continue her studies for 2 freaking years, we all decided to have another girl-night-together.

So on Sunday, i went down to Subang Parade to meet up with Era for a sleep over at Carmen's place!

Went around Subang Parade until Carmen came to pick us up. Went mamak for tea where we met up with Janu. After mamak, headed to Carmen's place just to chill and relax before dinner. Carmen's place burnt down awhile ago, so renovations were still going on. Carmen's room is still okay, but the master bedroom (where the fire started) was burnt really badly...

Headed to dinner at about 9 something (pretty late for me, but since i had my mamak earlier, it was alright). We went to this place called the Sahara's Tent, an arabian restaurant. Ahmad (Carmen's boyfriend) introduced us to this restaurant and it was fantastic....The food was great although the portions were a little too much...anyhow, the food was very very nice!! the ambience was also very different... We were totally suprised to see that there is a small arabian town in the middle of KL. what i mean by a small town is that there were little shops which sells all the arabian things...the sign board where all in arabic...very fascinating!

After dinner, we just hung out at Savana's tent, chilling...or rather taking all kinds of pictures!! hahahaha... we took so many pictures that i think everyone around us must be really annoyed or think that we are really "sakai"... Ahmad must be totally embarrassed by us...haahaha... (era if you are reading this, please send those pics soon!!!)

Janu went home after all that (so sad that she couldn't join us), and we spend the night at Carmen's place... We were so tired when we reached home that we all just KO'ed..cuz usually we have chit chat sessions that would last us till the wee hours of the morning!! BUT this time, we just slept until about 10 in the morning...

We had to rush a bit, cuz Carmen had to be at the Dutch Embassy by 2.00pm to collect her Visa to Holland!! We manage to get there before 2pm and did everything that was needed to be done... Since Era needed to go for a meeting at about 3 something, we drove thru McD's to get our lunch.... Since we were already there in KL, Carmen dropped me off at KL Sentral to head back to Nilai...

Reached Nilai and took the bus home....i gotta tell you, the bus that i sat home was the worse bus i have ever sat on.....everytime it would go over a bump, it would make sounds that as if the bus was going to come apart...creepy...i was just hoping that it would not break down!!! Thankfully it did not..:P I arrived home safely!!

Carmen, i'm going to miss you so much you know!!! Hope you enjoy yourself there, and dont forget to find some cute guys......not for you okay? FOR ME!!! Do take care of yourself....and dont forget to come home to see us!!!! if you dont.....see if we will forgive you!!!:P HUGS AND KISSES!!!!

Truely Inspiring Poetry

Excellent poems by not so famous poets...
found on toilet doors and walls..........

A budding poet trying his best...

Here I lie in stinky vapor,
Because some bastard stole the toilet paper,
Shall I lie, or shall I linger,
Or shall I be forced to use my finger.

Before he graduated to be a poet, he wrote this...

Here I sit
Broken hearted
Tried to shit
But only farted

Someone who had a different experience wrote,

You're lucky
You had your chance
I tried to fart,
And shit my pants!

Perhaps it's true that people find inspiration in toilets.

I came here
To shit and stink,
But all I do
Is sit and think.

There are also people who come in for a different purpose...

Some come here to sit and think,
Some come here to shit and stink,
But I come> here to scratch my balls,
And read the bullshit on the walls...

Toilets walls also double as job advertisement space.......

(written high upon the wall)
If you can piss above this line,
the Singapore Fire Department wants you.

Ministry of Environment advertisement.

We aim to please!
You aim too! Please

On the inside of a toilet door:

Patrons are requested to remain seated throughout the entire performance.

And finally, this should teach some a lesson...

Sign seen at a restaurant:
The hands that clean these toilets also make your food...please aim properly.

Finally I'm Done

Yahoo!!! Finished with another semester!!! Exams are over and the holidays are kickin' in!!!!

Yesterday, after my last paper (CSC 100), 6 of us classmates headed down to Bandar Sunway for buffet steamboat!!! We ate and ate like there was no tomorrow and felt like throwing up!!! and it was totally worth it for the amount of food we ate...we paid RM 22 each and ate till we cant eat anymore!!!

We headed to Sunway Pyramid to try to catch a movie but the movies all started way to late.. if we were to watch it, we would have come back to Nilai about 3 something in the morning... So instead, we hung out in Starbucks...had my Green Tea Frappucino which was like the icing on a cake!!! Totally made the whole night worth it!

Came back here and went for a drink at the mamak here again....The whole night was about sitting down and putting something into our mouth...constantly stuffing our faces with food!!!
SO NOT HEALTHY AT ALL!!!!

Well, came back showered and plonked on the bed and slept till about almost 1 in the afternoon today!!! Which is actually very amazing, cuz i think this is the first time waking up so late....i mean like i think i slept about more than 10 hours?? I think that is why i feel so lazy today!!! but wait a minute...i think i'm lazy all the time!!

Anyhow....holidays have officially started and anyone who wants to hang out....dont ever feel shy to give me a call to go on a date with me.....i would totally love to!! ..*tak pandai malu*

:P Cheers to everyone who's on their holidays now......."Nyeh Nyeh Nyeh Nyeh Nyeh...to those who dont.....Bleh!

Out with my hommies

On saturday, I went down to KL to celebrate Era's Birthday. Janu picked me up from the KTM station around 2. Hung around her place, got ready to have a blast with my girlfriends..

Had dinner at TGIF, Subang Parade. All 4 of us had a wonderful time (Carmen, Janu, Era-the birthday girl, and myself). Nothing can beat a girls night out... The people at TGIF also sang a birthday song for Era and they were so much fun. The guys were also cute! hahaha...

We were the last customers when we left, cuz it was already 10.30pm almost 11!! didn't realize!!!

We went clubbin after that, Carmen's boyfriend drove us to this club called "Bar Savanh" and it was packed to the max!!! We had to dance in this corner but nonetheless we were all still had fun dancing!!! The music was great...

we left the club around 2.30 and headed for mamak. Went to this place behind Janu's house called 'Steven's Corner'. Sat and chatted till dawn...went back to Janu's place only at about 5.30am??

Slept for only an hour and had to send Era to KL Sentral, so since she was going there, might as well follow her. Took the train back to Nilai, back home....to continue my sleep!!!

Had a blast with my best of friends!! Hope we can do this more often!! Miss you guys already!!!!

ERA!!!! HAPPY 21'st BIRTHDAY, I HOPE THAT YOU ENJOYED YOURSELF!!! ENJOY LIFE SINCE NOW YOU ARE LEGALLY ABLE TO DO ANYTHING YOU WANT!!!! ME LOVE YOU LONG TIME!!!!

Aren't we full of excuses?

NATIONAL EXCUSE FOR HAIR LOSS:
Maggi Mee.

NATIONAL EXCUSE FOR BEING LATE:
Traffic Jam.

NATIONAL CONDOM:
None. Most Malaysians still feel embarrassed buying condoms. So they rushed into a 7-11, hurriedly grab the nearest pack, any pack, pay and leave before the cashier can even blink an eye.

NATIONAL FRUIT FOR INDUCING MENSTRUATION:
Pineapple

NATIONAL APHRODISIAC DRINK:
Stout. Many swear by it. But after a few pints they start swearing at everything...

NATIONAL FAKE ILLNESS FOR GETTING MC(MEN):
Food Poisoning.

NATIONAL FAKE ILLNESS FOR GETTING MC(WOMEN):
Menstrual Pain.

NATIONAL EXCUSES GIVEN BY WOMEN WHENREFUSING SEX:
Headache, kids not asleep, maid not asleep, mother-in-law around, early appointment, food not digested yet, aircond not cold enough, aircond too cold, nail polish not dry yet, forgot to take the pill, sleepy, stomach cramps, period, haven't remove make-up, haven't shower, no water supply, going to watch "Santa Barbara", depress, no mood, etc...

NATIONAL EXCUSES GIVEN BY MEN WHENREFUSING SEX:
None. Malaysian men never refuse sex.

NATIONAL CURE FOR HEADACHES:
Panadol. The "cure for all". If it fails we have another secret weapon...Tiger Balm.

NATIONAL CURE FOR DIZZINESS:
Minyak Angin Cap Kapak.

NATIONAL CAUSE OF DIZZINESS (FOR YUPPIES):
Happy Hours.

NATIONAL INSTANT CURE FOR DIZZINESS (FOR YUPPIES):
The sight of a police road block.

NATIONAL RUBBISH DUMP:
Anywhere. As long as it is not your house.

NATIONAL MOST MIS-PRONOUNCED NAME:
Carrefour. Sometimes even pronounced as Carry4! On second thoughts, why bother pronouncing stupid French brands like Peugeot,Renault or Citroen correctly. I think it sounds better, when the local mechanics say "PewJeot". When I was in school, Milo was always 'MeeLo', now that I'm sophisticated, I say "My Lo". So don't be embarassed saying "Carry 4" when the Mat Sallehs shamelessly pronounce orangutan as "rangutan".

la computers or le computers

A French teacher was explaining to her class that in French, unlike English, nouns are designated as either masculine or feminine. "House" is feminine -- "la maison." "Pencil" is masculine -- "le crayon."

A student asked, "What gender is 'computer'?" Instead of giving the answer, the teacher split the class into two groups -- male and female and asked them to decide for themselves whether "computer"should be a masculine or a feminine noun. Each group was asked to give four reasons for their recommendation.

The male group decided that "computer" should definitely be of the feminine gender ("la computer"), because:

1. No one but their creator understands their internal logic;
2. The native language they use to communicate with other computers is incomprehensible to everyone else;
3. Even the smallest mistakes are stored in long term memory for possible later retrieval; and
4. As soon as you make a commitment to one, you find yourself spending half your paycheck on accessories for it.

(... this gets better!!!)

The female group, however, concluded that computers should be masculine("le computer"), because:

1. In order to do anything with them, you have to turn them on;
2. They have a lot of data but still can't think for themselves;
3. They are supposed to help you solve problems, but half the time they ARE the problem; and
4. As soon as you commit to one, you realize that if you had waited a little longer, you could have gotten a better model!

The women won.

Traumatized

Today, as i was walking back home from college, a motorbike came from behind and tried to snatch my knapsack. FORTUNATELY, they didnt manage to do so..

Eventhough they didn't take my bag, they jerked it real hard and pulled my arm. Now, my neck hurts when it is at a certain angle.

I was at a state of shock that i didnt manage to do anything, didnt shout or like defend myself. I just stood there for a couple of seconds and then continued on walking. I was kinda scared that they would try to do it another time, so i walked faster towards home.

FREAKY MAN.....i guess thats the highlight of my day

Note to everyone: dont always think that it would not happen to you....BE SAFE and be AWARE of your surroundings!

Why do people watch Akademi Fantasia?

I was just flipping thru the channels and didnt have anything to watch so i just watch the Akademi Fantasia.

I find it real crap lar... they are so darn emotional.... someone leaves for the week...its like someone just died!!!

even that Aznil guy cries.... i think if a person who wasnt that emotional would also have to act all mushy so that its not that obvious....

As a contestant, arent you suppose to be happy that its not you that was eliminated? i know you are sad that your new-found friend is leaving, but he/she's not dead...... you'll still see him/her....its really funny to see everyone crying, the host, the judge, the contestants, the audience....everyone la....

I call it FAKE!!

Men are from Mars, Women are from Venus

Creative Writing Assignment

Here's a prime example of "Men Are From Mars, Women Are From Venus"offered by an English professor from the University of Phoenix:

The professor told his class one day:

"Today we will experiment with a new form called the tandem story. The process is simple. Each person will pair off with the person sitting to his or her immediate right. As homework tonight, one of you will write the first paragraph of a short story. You will e-mail your partner that paragraph and send another copy to me.The partner will read the first paragraph and then add another paragraph to the story and send it back, also sending another copy to me. The first person will then add a third paragraph, and so on back-and-forth.Remember to re-read what has been written each time in order to keep the story coherent. There is to be absolutely NO talking outside of the e-mails and anything you wish to say must be written in the e-mail. The story is over when both agree a conclusion has been reached."

The following was actually turned in by two of his English students: Rebecca and Gary.

THE STORY:

(first paragraph by Rebecca)

At first, Laurie couldn't decide which kind of tea she wanted. The chamomile, which used to be her favorite for lazy evenings at home, now reminded her too much of Carl, who once said, in happier times, that he liked chamomile. But she felt she must now, at all costs, keep her mind off Carl. His possessiveness was suffocating, and if she thought about him too much her asthma started acting up again. So chamomile was out of the question.

(second paragraph by Gary)

Meanwhile, Advance Sergeant Carl Harris, leader of the attack squadron now in orbit over Skylon 4, had more important things to think about than the neuroses of an air-headed asthmatic bimbo named Laurie with whom he had spent one sweaty night over a year ago. "A.S. Harris to Geostation 17," he said into his transgalactic communicator. "Polar orbit established. No sign of resistance so far..." But before he could sign off a bluish particle beam flashed out of nowhere and blasted a hole through his ship's cargo bay. The jolt from the direct hit sent him flying out of his seat and across the cockpit.

(Rebecca)

He bumped his head and died almost immediately, but not before he felt one last pang of regret for psychically brutalizing the one woman who had ever had feelings for him. Soon afterwards, Earth stopped its pointless hostilities towards the peaceful farmers of Skylon 4. "Congress Passes Law Permanently Abolishing War and Space Travel," Laurie read in her newspaper one morning. The news simultaneously excited her and bored her. She stared out the window, dreaming of her youth, when the days had passed unhurriedly and carefree, with no newspaper to read, no television to distract her from her sense of innocent wonder at all the beautiful things around her."Why must one lose one's innocence to become a woman?" she pondered wistfully.

(Gary)

Little did she know, but she had less than 10 seconds to live. Thousands of miles above the city, the Anu'udrian mothership launched the first of its lithium fusion missiles. The dim-witted wimpy peaceniks who pushed the Unilateral Aerospace disarmament Treaty through the congress had left Earth a defenseless target for the hostile alien empires who were determined to destroy the human race. Within two hours after the passage of the treaty the Anu'udrian ships were on course for Earth, carrying enough firepower to pulverize the entire planet. With no one to stop them, they swiftly initiated their diabolical plan. The lithium fusion missile entered the atmosphere unimpeded. The President, in his top-secret mobile submarine headquarters on the ocean floor off the coast of Guam, felt the inconceivably massive explosion, which vaporized poor, stupid, Laurie and 85 million other Americans. The President slammed his fist on the conference table. "We can't allow this! I'm going to veto that treaty! Let's blow 'em out of the sky!"

(Rebecca)

This is absurd. I refuse to continue this mockery of literature. My writing partner is a violent, chauvinistic semi-literate adolescent.

(Gary)
Yeah? Well, my writing partner is a self-centered tedious neurotic whose>>>>attempts at writing are the literary equivalent of Valium. "Oh, shall I have chamomile tea? Or shall I have some other sort of &$#@ TEA??? Oh no, what am I to do? I'm such an air headed bimbo who reads too many Danielle Steele novels!"

(Rebecca)

A--hole.

(Gary)

B-tch.

(Rebecca)

F__ YOU - YOU NEANDERTHAL!

(Gary)

Go drink some tea - Wh_re.

(TEACHER)

A+ - I really liked this one

My report for the day

Title: The post-syndrome of doing laboratory journals

Aims: - to know the effects of doing too much laboratory reports and journals

Methods: You will have to do at least 4 reports a week.

Results: After completing the experiment, i had become somewhat disorientated. I also discovered that i hate doing reports. It is time consuming, energy consuming. It takes away the time i have for fun.

Discussion:- This experiment was done under the pressure of handing it up the next day.
-This experiment showed that doing too much of lab reports will consume a
lot of energy and and time allocated for other more important things.
-Doing lab reports are lame and it makes me a lame person.

Conclusion: After conducting this experiment, It can be said that doing too much lab report can cause a person (me) to have no life.

SOMEONE SAVE ME FROM LAB REPORTS PLEASE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
