Lost and Found

I'm back people after a long silence....

Its been so much fun being back in labuan... i miss it already...

Did quite a lot of things...i just hope that i can remember all those that happened..

I mentioned before that i was going to the St.Anne's charity dinner right? yeah...i went and it was fun being able to meet up with all the teachers that you so eager wanna see and those who you try to avoid. Teachers like Mrs. Tay are the ones that you really look forward to seeing and Cikgu Jostelen is the one that you wanna avoid. To give you a little history on why i (or should i say "we") dont like him. You see, he is the type of guy that gives you the impression that he is damn gatal. The way he looks at you from top to bottom just gives you the creeps... I can say that my friends all share the same thinking as me. When i met him at the dinner that night, he couldn't recognize me immediately. Another teacher had to mention my name to him, then only he would go " Goh Szue May?". He was kinda shocked and said " wah, lain sudah ah"...so i kinda said to him " cikgu, cepat juga cikgu lupa murid cikgu!"...Guess what he replied me? "dulu tidak cantik, sekarang sudah cantik sikit!"...Damn man....teachers like this....you just dont know what to say lar..

I was also able to meet up with my tuition teachers. First, Cikgu Wong - Lily and I went over to his house one the days to visit him. eh...not visit him.....Visit his new-born-son...actually not so new-born lar...3 months old already... The baby so cute i tell you... you'll see it soon! The other teacher that i was able to meet up with is Cikgu Win. Nana and I went over to her house and cooked for us Curry Mee. It was nice being in her house and it brought back so many memories. I was with her for tuition from Form 1- Form 5, so practically i was there in that house every other night! For that, i'm greatful for them

Besides that..i was able to meet up with a bunch of friends. William, Oubre, Che Chung and his friend, Alex, Nana, Era, Lily, Lucy, Lai Eng and so many many more...i guess this time is the right time when everyone is back there in labuan. Went yamcha-ing quite a lot to catch up with everyone. So it was fun fun fun fun...

Me and my St.Anne friends were also able to meet up with an ex-teacher of ours that left us in Form 2. She has now returned to labuan but now teaching in a different school. Miss Jalina Marlini is a fun teacher, young at heart and talking to her is so much fun. Hanging out with her makes me think that she is one of us. I will upload pictures of it soon.

Another big thing that happened while i was in Labuan was that i turned 21!!! Yes, i'm officially 21 now and legally to do almost everything, including entering clubs without the fear of the club being raded!! I guess this is the best birthday ever... I dont normally have birthday parties so this year was no different. However, i was able to hang out with people that mean the most to me. Being with my parents on my birthday was the most important. My dearest friends, Era, Nana and William had a small gathering for me before dinner. And now, in Nilai, with my sister and family. So i guess this is the best birthday... Had 3 cakes altogether!! So full of yummilicious cakes!!!

I love my gift from Nana, which is a charmbracelet. It had a lock and key on it which represented my freedom. Added another charm to it and i'm loving it... Thanks Na!!!

I love the other gift from my sister and her family....She got me a digital camera!!! I'm so happy!!! wanted to get a digital camera for myself and now i have one!!! I'M SO HAPPY!!!! LOVE YOU GUYS SO MUCH!!!! THANK YOU!

I guess thats all that i can remember for now..if i missed out anything....will talk about it later!

Will upload pictures soon...

I'm back in Labuan

Its been a while since i last blogged. Quite a lot has happened...i just hope that i dont miss out anything!!

First and foremost, my exams are over and i'm on holiday for 2 months!! Yippee...the only thing that i dread about the holidays is waiting for my exam results!! which will be coming out this coming wednesday....i know that i didnt do well this time around, so i dont expect much...

The next day after my exams, i headed down to KL with 4 of my classmates to hang out...spent the night there so that we can meet up with other of my classmates the following day to head for A'famosa Resort in Malacca. We stayed in Capitol Hotel for the night and hung out the whole day....from the moment we reached KL...we enjoyed ourselves until i think about 2 in the morning?? Lunch at Nando's, window shopping, Karaoke at RedBox for 5 hours, Dinner at Kim Gary, midnight drink at Starbucks (Starbucks at Bintang walk closes only at 2am). We really enjoyed outselves...and when we headed back to the hotel, we were all satisfied.

In the morning, we went to McD's for breakfast at 7.30 am (McD's at Bintang walk is 24hours), and got ready to meet the others at Pudu Bus station...everyone was on time....BUT the whole episode started with the agency which we did our bookings with didn't inform the bus company that there was a group of us going to A'famosa... So the ticketing counter in the bus station didnt know anything about it!! Stupid agency...we waited so long and so many phone calls later....they asked us to buy another ticket to Tampin and then over there, there'll be another bus to take us to the resort...The thing was that we had already paid for everything, including the bus tickets... so we made a big fuss about the whole thing...and they said that they would refund us the money...until now, i havent heard anything from my friend about that...hopefully everything will be okay...

We had fun there in A'famosa even though it started out bad.. Had fun with my classmates... we went for the Safari and the Carnival...something different...kinda nice lar...although the animals in the safari looked really pathetic!! The only thing was that the food was very expensive... everything else was cheap but when it came to eating....they killed us!!! i think that is how they earn money...since town is like an hour away, we dont have any choice but to eat there. So, we thought it over that it would be the last time going there...and that the next outing would be somewhere more practical and more "student" friendly...

After coming back to KL from Malacca, i stayed at my cousin Ann's place in PJ and help her with her company's events... This is the same cousin that i helped out last year with her husband's company dinner... Helped her for 2 days!! It was fun, and looking forward for more events....Infact, she has already asked me to help her for another event end of November!! So i guess i'll be going back by then!! AHAHAHA!!

Yeah, so i guess its been a good holiday so far. Still looking forward for more things to come...and as my post title says, i'm now back in labuan, chilling out andtomorrow will meet up with my buddies... Its good to be back home!!!

Oh ya..i've got something to look forward while i'm here is that my ex-school St. Anne's Charity Dinner... hopefully will be able to meet up with old friends and my dearest of teachers! 17th November!

*Internet Connection here at home is still on Dial-up...so if no updates...you know why...

Different people all around!

I've met 2 different people recently, can't call them "friends" yet, cuz i've only bumped into them a couple of times...

One gives you the first impression of a cool bloke, confident, a person who everyone wants to hang out with... When i first saw him around campus, i thought to myself that this guy is not too bad-looking, attractive in a way and i liked the way he carried himself.. until he was all out with "PDA" with this girl who was obviously his girlfriend. Kinda made me go "This is Malaysia, and we are in a college, get a room!" (I'm not being conservative, am i?). However, One day as i was walking to class, he came up to me and said "Hi"... so, we talked all the way till i reached my class and we parted ways. I didn't even catch what his name was... I was wrong, i guess he's not that bad after all...*wink wink*

Couple of days later, we met in the college library...he came up to me and went "Oh ya...i forgot to ask whats your name?"... we talked about how long we've been here but never seem to see each other up until recently... We thought of each other being only in the first semester!!

So, i can say that he's a nice guy, just friendly...nothing serious...

On the contrary, there is another guy that i met....was only yesterday that i met him...First impression? quiet, and kinda introvert. I gave him a smile and he stopped me... so being friendly, i talked to him for awhile...and went in different directions.

Now the thing is...i think he is stalking me... he caught me in the library again. Being nice, i talked to him...although i was really trying to avoid him... (If you know me well, my facial expressions would have said it all)

What shocked me the most and made me really scared of him is that (this is what he said, and not what i think he thinks), he said the smile i give him make him think that it is specially for him... and that when i smile...i'll give an eye contact that means something to him!!! Oh common lah...i usually smile back to anyone who smiles at me...

The freaky thing is that he said that he has seen me around campus and notices me....saying things about the way i dress, seeing me in the convenient stores near by...Totally freaks me out...this means that he's been eyeing on me!!!! I'm not saying that i've never seen him around, but its just i dont recall being in a particular place where he said that i was. This totally freaked me OUT!!! He even ask me out saying that we should go and hang out...

Sorry to tell you this, but i don't simply go out with people i just met, even though how nice you are like the previous guy i mentioned...Its creepy and TOTALLY NOT SAFE at all... all you hear on the news is about girls dumb enough to go meet their "sms", "online" buddies and end up being rape or even killed!!

I hope that i've made it clear to that guy that i'm not interested in "hanging out" with him... He gives me the creeps!! If not...please help me get the message through!!!

I need a hiding place!!

So you see, 2 different kinds of people. One makes you happy when you bump into them (saw the nice guy today in college from a far, waved and thats it)... the other makes you wanna run 10 miles the opposite way when he approaches you.

Out with My Lifeguard Buddies

We decided to have a small farewell for Shu Ai, who is in her final semester here and will be going off to Aussie this coming February.

Headed down to Midvalley, by bus and then by KTM (the bus took us aroun the whole of Nilai, and we only got to the KTM station an hour later!!!). My first time going out with this bunch of friends, so i didn't know what to expect... but it was FUN!! Shu Ai, Jeremie and Chee Foo are fun people to hang out with and taking the KTM with them was fun...talked about climbing Mt. Kinabalu to hair waxing....hilarious lo.....

Had Domino's Pizza for lunch and headed to MPH after that (Jeremie wanted to get his engineering book)...however, i was the one who ended up buying a book instead of Jeremie, cuz the book that he wanted to get was RM 600!!!! CRAZY...i can buy so many Jodi Picoult book with that you know!!!! and yeah...i got another Jodi Picoult book for my holiday (which is coming up in 2 weeks time)!!!!

Eugenia met up with us after that and we headed to McD's. Had sundaes there and Eugenia spent each of us a banana pie...which was not too bad....That really made me so full.....and i think the rest of us were really full too...

Walked around Carrefour to get some stuff for Chee Foo's mother since he was going back to KK this Tuesday.... so funny to see Chee Foo carrying so many things, luckily he had his knapsack with him!!! If not...he'd look like a clown for sure! :P

Decided to go to KLCC to go look at more books at Kinokuniya book shop there. Hung around there and decided to have dinner there before heading back to Nilai... We decided to go to the Food Court there but hell man, BIG MISTAKE....It was only 6.30pm but the the food court was already full house. And the funny thing is that "Sungkai" was only at around 7.10 or something like that... "They" already had food right in front of them, and they rather stare at the food for 40 minutes (no joke). Sorry for being a bitch lar (and hope that my malay friends don't get offended), but we were so tired and just needed to sit and get a quick bite lo.... BUT no luck, so we waited until around 7.30pm, when the crowd subsided and we had places to sit... haiyo..7.30pm takes forever to come when you are already tired and hungry!!! Anyhow, it came and we ate and we left!

Took LRT and KTM back to Nilai and my loving sister came pick us up from the station!!! So thankful that we didn't have to take the bus....Thanks Che!

I'm so tired....need rest and have to start studying for finals!!! Tambah Minyak!!!

p/s: Dear Friends...please don't tempt me during this period when i'm suppose to be studying my butts off by asking me out, having fun without me..etc.. Please be considerate enough to do all that after i finished which is on the 31'st of October (which isn't too long from now), Okay?? Your kind consideration is MUCH appreciated!!!

LOVE YOU!!!
HUGS & KISSES XOXOXO!!!
