Weekend in Malacca

Left for Malacca on Saturday morning.

I guess it was an eating and relax weekend....

what i ate in 2 days:

1. chicken ball rice
2. Dinner at Chinese restaurant
3. Beef Soup
4. Tau Fu Fah
5. Secret Recipe's Secret Indulgence
6. Fried Kuey Tiaw
7. Cendol


We also watched a little bit of:

1. Sex in the City
2. Desperate Housewives

I think there's more.....but all i know that is i am BLOODY full...:P....I FEEL FAT!!!

It has been 2 days of holiday...nothing much has been done. Today i washed my sister and brother-in-law cars...got my workout..heheh and then did 200 sit ups!!!hahaha...plan to do some exercises during this holiday together with my sister, now got teman, nicer lar....

After that did do much, went to Puchong, grocery shopping at Giant hypermarket. After that came back home...

In the evening, my sis baked a cake and made some mixed fruit jelly..She is really trying very hard to be Bree Van De Kamp from Desperate Housewives.....I shall wish her all the best!

Anyway....will be going to Melaka with my sis on Saturday for the weekend. Enjoy the weekend.......

and oh ya....for those who are in school..i know its your last day...So ENJOY your holiday till next year!!!!

Teenagers....

I just spent several hours observing teenagers hanging out at our local mall. I came to the conclusion many teenagers in America today are living in poverty. Most young men I observed didn't even own a belt; there was not one among the whole group.

But that wasn't the sad part. Many were wearing their daddy's jeans. Some jeans were so big and baggy they hung low on their hips, exposing their underwear. I know some must have been ashamed their daddy was short, because his jeans hardly went below their knees.

They weren't even their daddies' good jeans, for most had holes ripped in the knees and a dirty look to them.

It grieved me, in a modern, affluent society like America, there are people who can't afford a decent pair of jeans. I was thinking about asking my church to start a jeans drive for "poor kids at the mall." Then on Christmas Eve, I could go Christmas caroling and distribute jeans to these poor teenagers.

But here is the saddest part..... it was the girls they were hanging out with that disturbed me most. I never, in all of my life, seen such poverty stricken girls. These girls had the opposite problem of the guys. They all had to wear their little sister's clothes. Their jeans were about 5 sizes too small! I don't know how they could put them on, let alone button them up. Their jeans barely went over their hipbones. Most also had on their little sister's top; it hardly covered their midsections.

Oh, they were trying to hold their heads up with pride, but it was a sad sight to see these almost grown women wearing children's clothes. However, it was their underwear that bothered me most. They, like the boys, because of the improper fitting of their clothes, had their underwear exposed. I never saw anything like it. It looked like their underwear was only held together by a single piece of string.

I know it saddens your heart to receive this report on condition of our American teenagers. While I go to bed every night with a closet full of clothes nearby, there are millions of "mall girls" who barely have enough material to keep it together. I think their "poorness" is why these 2 groups gather at the mall, boys with their short daddies ripped jeans, and girls wearing their younger sisters clothes. The mall is one place where they can find acceptance.

So, next time you are at the mall, doing your shopping, and you pass by some of these poor teenagers, would you say a prayer for them? And one more thing. Will you pray the guys pants won down, and girls' strings won't break?

Stressful Exams are FINALLY OVER!!!

YAHOO!!!!!!!

Exams are finally over (although my exams was only 2 days)!! The past week was really stressful, cramping 31 chapters altogether into my tiny brain was a lot to take in!!!! Distractions were all over, parents were here, housewarming during the weekend!!!

So now, i'm on my 2 months break!!!! I hope i'll make full use of it....no plans just yet, but i think i wont be going back to labuan. sad aint it?? Planning to go holiday with my bunch of friends if they are into it...planning to go to the winter school in Port Dickson, but all of this is not sure yet, plans that are just at the "thinking of" stage.

Any suggestions on what to do???If you guys are free, gimme a call....i'm so free!!!!!!!Lets go hang out!!!

Its friday again???

WOW......time really do fly....when i say fly.....i really mean it zoomed pass just like that!!!! I thought i just wrote that post "Thank God its Friday" and now its friday again........Yes to another weeked but an Oh NO! for my finals!!!!!!

This afternoon, i finished 2 assignments, which i am very happy with and then i'll have to start with my 3 Lab reports (3 last lab reports)....no more lab reports until next year....YAHOO!!!!!!!! Lab reports are really a drag you know. They take up most of your time!!! One week you have 4 lab reports, which are so long and so much work....we end up spending so much time on it that we dont have time to study!!!!! So i guess everyone in my class are glad that labs are over for the semester!

Mum and Dad are coming back from New Zealand on Sunday and i am really looking forward to it!!!! hehehe..pictures and goodies....i hope mum bought some knick knacks back from me!!!!!!:P

Finally my day is over...

Today was really a hectic day for me!!!!Had an assignment and a lab report to pass up, which i didn't complete, and also had a test to sit!!

Started walking to school at about 9.30 am (class start at 10). First class of the day was MCB121, Molecular and Cell Biology. The lecturer showed us some animations on cell respiration and photosynthesis....the process that takes place within cells. Animation was suppose to be interesting, but i was so sleepy to even concentrate......sigh.................half sleepy, half worried about my work..so couldnt do much lar!!!!!

Biology class ended at 12, headed for lunch and then to the library. Completed both my assignment and lab report(sigh of relief)......and then read through Chemistry again before the test.

At 2pm, went for the test, sat for it and all i can say is that it was much harder than the previous one, so i really dont know how the results will be...hopefully still okay lar......sigh sigh

But, THANK GOD....tomorrow is a better day, since we have all finished out experiments for this semester, we only have class from 10-12pm....YAHOO........stress free a little...........

Dont be so happy for me yet cuz.... i still have tonnes of things to do you know????2 assignments, 3 lab reports, 1 quiz to study for......all due next week.....and MY FINALS in 2 weeks time!!!!!!!!

Damn....the weekend is almost over

In about one and a half hours, it will be monday....and then back to college....back to classes....i so don't wanna go!!!!!Please rewind the days back to FRIDAY!!!! I havent gotten enough of my weekend!!!!

Tomorrow will be another long day...will be in college from 10am to 4pm!!!!sigh sigh sigh

I really can't wait for the holiday!!!but then if i pray that the holidays are earlier, that also means that my exams would be earlier, which i dont want........without anything prayers already, my finals are already on the 24th and 25th of October(2 weeks exactly for me to study..damn...didnt know it was that short)..ARGH>>>>PLEASE PRAY FOR ME!!!!!!

At Last it is the WEEKEND!!!!

THANK GOD IT'S FRIDAY!!!!

This whole week has been so tiring for me......at least i managed to pass up 4 lab report, 1 assignment, sat for 1 quiz!!!!!

Today i got my Biology test paper back and...YAHOO!!!!!!!

Well...i hope to enjoy my weekend...but then.....have to study for Chemistry Test on wednesday!!!

Something I did with paint a few weeks back!

Some stuff i did using "paint"....i remember when i was younger and when there was no internet( this is when i was in miri, like primary school), i used to play around with paint whenever i am on the computer!!! It would be nice to go back to those days again...when you had no worries and had fun playing and goofing around!!!!

I think i need to go get myself a computer mouse for my laptop, now using the touch pad kills me and its so hard to have control over it.....everything comes out "cacat"....like my name above...so cacat you know!!!!!!anyone who has a mouse they dont use anymore(using usb port)....donation would be so much appreciated!!!!
