I just got back a few hours ago from Gopeng, Perak. Went there with my cousin Fay Fay and her colleagues for white water rafting!! Sungai Kampar was the river that we were on and it was fun!!
This is my first experience but i would really love to go another round. According to our guide, Arman, since that its not a raining season (although you here floods here and there), the water currents are not strong enough. Hence, only grade 2 rapids. They said to come back in May/June when its the raining season, rapids will go up to grade 4!! That would be nice and fun!
Too bad that i wasn't not able to take pictures of the whole ride...no waterproof camera....which is quite a big disappointment lar!!
Next white water rafting experience would be the Padas River in Sabah which I have been wanting to go ever since I heard about it!
and oh ya, our raft didn't capsize...hahaha...there was the group of boys whose raft keep on going over...i assume it was done intentionally because you keep seeing one of the boys missing, one of the smaller boy kept being thrown out by his brothers!! It was a funny sight although it can be kinda dangerous due to all the rocks and the currents!!!

Merry Christmas Everyone!!!

On Saturday, My family and I went down to Melaka for a Christmas weekend. My sister's in-laws had a small Christmas party that night and we had fun with all the food all around us.....Ate till like there was no tomorrow!
To complement the dinner, we had a box of tiny, beautiful cupcakes to go with it!!!
Aren't they just so CUTEEEEE....so sakit hati want to eat them!
The next morning, although it was just christmas eve, my niece Jia Wen couldn't wait to open her presents!!! So she did...and look what she got from her Nai Nai.
A cleaning trolley with the whole works (mop, pail, broom and even a vacuum cleaner actually works!)
She also opened her other presents but i didn't take pictures of it...too many!!!
