So far....

I have been to 2 days of class and so far they are not bad!!!the lecturers are not bad!! My chemistry Lecturer is okay....but my molecular and cell biology is great....quite funny....at least he keeps the class awake!!

Today and tomorrow is public holiday!!!!Yay...so i dont have to go to classes... but then again..how i wish that on friday also holiday so i dont have to go to the only 2 hours class on that day!!!but then i should not start complaining as this is only my first week...better stop now!!!

anyways....HAPPY MERDEKA TO ALL MALAYSIANS!!!!!!!!!!!!Hope you guys enjoy the holiday!

First Day of Orientation

Today is the day!!!the day when my orientation starts!!!hahah..nothing much to say about it la...made some new friends but i'm still keeping to what Jasmeet say about meeting new friends and not making them your buddy buddy or your girlfriends straight away....Thanks Jasmeet...hugs!!!!

While i was walking back home for dinner earlier, there was this Nigerian guy who walked with me....kinda sweet but then kinda scary at the same time...he asked for my number but i did not want to give him.....scared man..hahah......he was nice and stuff...but being my first day and all....i did not really feel comfortable!!

Just finished orientation about an hour ago... and tomorrow will have another long day!!!!!9am -10pm!!!!!crazy right???

well i guess i better go get some rest!!!!see you guys soon!!!!

Hello!!!

Greetings from Nilai!!!! I've been here for exactly a week!!! i'm staying with my sister and her family and so far it has been great!!!!

Last weekend, we went up to Penang with sister's Japanese friends and did all the tourist-sy things, visited the Kek Lok Si, Botanical Garden, Burmese Temple, and the Siamese Temple...Although i have been in Penang so often...i havent been to these places in a long time...i think the last time i went to these kinda places was when i was a kid!!!!

My orientation will start next week!!!!Can't wait....but i'm also scared.....in a new environment!!!!!argh!!!wish me luck okay?????

My last couple of days in Labuan

The feelings inside me are all mixed up.....I'm excited to leave but also scared to leave my comfort zone!!!

I'll be leaving on Thursday and i haven't really started packing....i just took my bags out yesterday and started to dump some clothes in it.. I must make sure that i dont forget important things...like my certificates and my important documents...for my application.

I'll be going to Inti Nilai and will be doing an Australaian Transfer Degree Program and it will take 3 years........wish me all the best!!!!!!!

I'll be missing people back here a lot...family and friends!!!!!!will missing you all so much!!!!!!!!!snif snif!!!!!!!!!Please do keep in touch okay? Email me, message me, call me, visit me.............

well...I havent been doing much lately. Now, i am reading East of Eden! by John Steinbeck. Most of you might have read it since its such an old story already..It is really a nice story and i cant seem to put the book down!!!

Last sunday, went to FP thinking of getting my eyes checked, but then i had my contact lenses. Instead of getting my eyes check, i donated blood....hehehe....they were having this blood donation, organized by some "moral up-lifting" association. At last, i could donate my blood after trying 2 times a couple months back.

Since, i did not get my eyes checked the other day, i went to have it checked today. the lady said that i did not have to change my specs because there was no changes since the last time i changed my specs....so i bought 6 pairs of contact lenses that would last me 6 months...So i dont have to worry for the next 6 months about my eyes!!!!!!heheheh

Today, play badminton again....before Aunty Yew Choo came, it was alright, wasnt really that tired......THEN.....hahahah aunty Yew Choo came, stroked with her and she gave me some pointers....."harder!!!yes!!harder!!!your leg position!!!!harder!!harder!!!!" after about 15 minutes i was drained!!!!!OMG!!!!! my arms started to shiver!!!!!I think aunty saw me, she must have thought "this young girl...like that also no stamina"...i surrendered!!!!!!!!

I'm looking forward to catch the ladies of Wisteria Lane from DESPERATE HOUSEWIFE tonight after watching JOEY. Joey is so adorably stupid!!!!i wonder if there are people that stupid. But he is adorably sweet...

Selfish prayer vs Selfless prayer

A voyaging ship was wrecked during a storm at sea and only two of the men on it were able to swim to a small, desert like island.

The two survivors, not knowing what else to do, agreed that they had no other recourse but to pray to God. However, to find out whose prayer was more powerful, they agreed to divide the territory between them and stay on opposite sides of the island.

The first thing they prayed for was food. The next morning, the first man saw a fruit-bearing tree on his side of the land, and he was able to eat its fruit. The other man's parcel of land remained barren.

After a week, the first man was lonely and he decided to pray for a wife .The next day, another ship was wrecked, and the only survivor was a woman who swam to his side of the land. On the other side of the island, there was nothing.

Soon the first man prayed for a house, clothes, more food. The next day, like magic, all of these were given to him. However, the second man still had nothing.

Finally, the first man prayed for a ship, so that he and his wife would leave the island. In the morning, he found a ship docked at his side of the island. The first man boarded the ship with his wife and decided to leave the second man on the island. He considered the other man unworthy to receive God's blessings, since none of his prayers had been answered. As the ship was about to leave, the first man heard a voice from heaven booming, "Why are you leaving your companion on the island?"

"My blessings are mine alone, since I was the one who prayed for them," the first man answered. "His prayers were all unanswered and so he does not deserve anything." "You are mistaken!" the voice rebuked him. "He had only one prayer, which I answered. If not for that, you would not have received any of my blessings."
"Tell me," the first man asked the voice, "What did he pray for that I should owe him anything?"

"He prayed that all your prayers be answered."

For all we know, our blessings are not the fruits of our prayers alone, but those of another praying for us.

Women and Men

Women are like apples on trees. The best ones are at the top of the tree. Most men don't want to reach for the good ones because they are afraid of falling and getting hurt.
