Another 2 weeks and i'm heading back to KL. I've been here for 3 months? and wow...its amazing that i've been a bum for that long...:P

I've been doing a lot of dancing this past weeks for the St. Anne reunion and together with the fashion show, its practice every weekend and sometimes during the weekday.... At least i have something else besides being a bum hoh?

One thing that i wanted to do while i was here was to go to Miri to visit one of my best friends, Hsei Di. But mission impossible.....sniff sniff... I haven't seen her in a year i think and after this wont see her for dunno God knows when.....right Di??

I will definitely miss my best gurlfriends a lot... i really hope we will stay tight even though we are 1000 miles away!!! I hope i dont cry like mad when i'm there missing my parents and friends. WAKAKAKAKAKA!!!!

Argh...writing this post makes me wanna cry la...so i'll better stop lar....bikin sasak nafas only!!! Bah, aku jalan dulu....karang jumpa la!

At Last

I've been wanting to blog for so long but due to the horrible connection here, its is impossible!!

I've been back in Labuan for more than a month now and did not manage to get a job cuz they said that 2 months was not long enough. I asked 2 hotels and they said that they either wanted a full time staff or at least 3 months of work. So i guess the remaining days of my holidays is spent by spending more time with my parents.

I've been away from home for 2 years while studying in Inti but i dont really consider it away from home because i stayed with my sister which is still family. And with Air Asia, i travelled about 2 or more times back home and my parents visited me numerous times. So all of this does not make me miss home much. However, when i leave for UK this september, I wont be seeing my family for about a year, which kinda scares me a little. I know that i'm not that kinda person who will miss home that much cuz i've been travelling on my own since a young age. Like i would go around Sabah with my Bahai friends for one whole month and that time when i went to India for 2 and half months. I didn't miss home much and the only time that i would miss home is when i was on the phone with my parents...Hopefully it will be the same when i further my studies in a couple of months time.

I've been hanging out with some friends back home. Its nice to catch up with them and to spend time with them as i wont be seeing then for a year, or maybe more?? OMG, I can't imagine my life without my family and my girlfriends, they are the ones that keep me sane!!! I still got a couple of friends that i've yet to hang out with and i must find a day to drag those people of their arses go yam cha!

Since i've been back here, i've been helping out with the Rotarians with their eye screening project about once a week. At least i'm doing something beneficial. I also finished the Da Vinci Code (I know that many of you have already read it and i'm way behind everyone), and now on my Jodi Picoult book, Mercy. I plan to read a couple more books so that at least i have accomplished something during this LONG holiday.

Something else to keep me occupied next month is that i'm involved with the fashion show for St.Anne's Reunion. Some of you might go "OMG!!! May is going to MODEL?"... I'm just doing it in support of my school and for the fun of it! The fashion show is all about fashions during different eras. I'm dressing up as Gwen Stefani during the 90's when No Doubt were HUGE. So tank top, track pants, sneakers, wacky hair. My sister asked me to bleach my hair, but i'm not going to ruin my hair just for one night!! and not forgetting, the fashion show is just a 30 minutes show and i still have the dinner to enjoy and not be the center of attention with my blond hair!! I plan to cut my hair short (now its out of shape) and highlight with red? What do you think??? I need comments!! Other than that, i'm really looking forward to this reunion which i think would be fun with all the people that would be attending.

My sister was here a couple of days ago to drop her son here so that she, her hubby and Jia Wen can go for a holiday. Jia Xiang has been fun to look after but sometimes he just loves to be carried, which is not so fun. just now i think i carried him while he slept for about an hour till my neck was hurting. He'll be here till next week when his mom will come get him... One misconception when Jia Xiang is here without his mother is that when we go out with the baby, everyone would think that the baby is mine. Which is not so good being that Labuan is so so small and that rumours travels in the speed of light and i do not want people going around saying " ko tau, hari tu aku nampak si Goh Szue May dukung baby oh, capat jua dia beranak!" A big no no in a town sooooo small and half of the island knows you! I'm not saying i'm not proud to have a niece and nephew but i dont want people to think otherwise!!

hmm... what else to blog ah...since the connection is allowing me to...

Oh ya, i bought a sneakers today, happy happy joy joy with my new adidas!!!

Me and Labuan

Been back in labuan for about 3 weeks now and it is nice to back home. For the past 3 days, i've been helping my parents paint the inside of the house, the paint is finished so i guess there's no more painting tomorrow.

Recieved my offer letter from University of Sunderland today and i'm glad that everything is going so far smoothly. The next thing i have to do is to do my passport and my visa and to pay up for the tuition fees!!! I really hope there will be no complications through this whole process!!!

Can't wait for my friends to come back to labuan, then i'll be hanging out with them soon!!!! wakakaka...come home come home!!!

Oh ya, speaking of friends, I WANT TO GIVE A SHOUT OUT TO ERA NATASHA WHO JUST HAD HER CONVO LAST WEEK!!! CONGRATS BABE!! VERY VERY PROUD OF YOU....

I'm going home!

Tomorrow I'll be going back to Labuan! I'm not sure how long i'll be there but it would be quite a while. Since i bought only a one way ticket, i suppose i'll be there at least 2 months. It all depends on how all my university application goes. I still need to come back to KL to do my visa and things like that, even shopping for winter clothings (which i can't wait)

Anyway, i wont be blogging as often, due to the dial-up connection but i'll keep everyone updated. Those who will be in labuan, dont forget to call me and we all can go hang out!!!

ARGH!!!

I'm very PISSED right now......My exams results are out and the results are really upsetting!!!!

After sitting for the exams, and knowing how i did for the exam, i was aiming for 2 A's.....but now..... after seeing the results that is out....i'm so disappointed ....

i got B+'s for the subject that i was aiming for an A-... because i got quite high internal marks for those subjects.....about 40+ over a totall of 50%. I'm curious.... getting B+ for my finals means my final marks (internal mark+final paper) is around 75-79.... so roughly 75-40=35, and since my finals stands 50% of the whole marks.. 35 x 2 = 70.....That means i scored about 70 in my finals....which i think its bad...thinking that i could answer the questions in the paper!!!! DARN.........Usually during the exams, after finishing up with my paper, i'll calculate roughly how much i can get during the exams so that i can roughly expect my results. BUT NOW ITS TOTALLY UNEXPECTED!!!

ARGH!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Great Night!

Yesterday I finished my last paper feeling really happy, so happy that i was smiling handing my answer booklet to my lecturer... I was so glad that I was done with my second year and also glad that my exams are over. However, walkling out of the examination hall and talking to my friends was really sad, cuz now all of us will be splitting ways....was in the verge of tears but strong enough to not cry! wakakaka...its really bitter-sweet!

Enough with exams, later in the evening a few of us headed to KL to have hell of a night! However, it started with getting stuck in the jam, reached KLCC only after being 2 hours in the car....my butt was flat and numb after coming out of the car. Not only was my butt numb, my tummy was damn hungry...i tell you, everyone in the car was so hungry that we were grumbling the whole way in the jam!!

Thanks to Kingsley, being punctual and all, he managed to get a place in Chili's for us despite the long long cue... However, we were damn pissed when we got sitted, because there were these guai lan guai lou who cut que and took our sits!! i tell you, all of us were damn pissed lar, you could see the change in Kingsley's face... that guy just went pass the girl-in-charge and just sat in our sits lar. Damn pissed lar. Even the girl in charge could move him... I tell you.... we were trying our best to sabotage that table lar....telling the waiter not to serve them first, telling the waiter to bring our food first.... ahahahah....and another annoying thing was that they were blooddy LOUD......laughing like they were the only ones there!! But when our food came, we just forgot about those lame ol' people and had the most fun!!

makan makan, yak yak yak.....sampai 11 o'clock, and started to head to ZOUK for a night of party. However, when we reached there, one of my friend couldnt get in cuz she was underage. Not that i wanted to smuggle in an under-aged girl, but i didn't know that she was only 20. I thought everyone of us was 21 and above.. So got my brother to get us in another club called the Maison. Since it was for 18 and above, all of us could get in without a problem lar.

The music there was great, DJ JOEY G was spinning that night (my brother didnt tell me, so i didnt expect lar). and then while i was dancing on the podium, i saw my brother up there at the DJ console. Sekali, i see my brother spinning away!! It was so cool!!!! the music was AMAZING!!! House music is really cool!! DJ Joey G and DJ Victor G sure rocked the house to the max lar!!! and addition to that, DJ Joey G is damn HOT!!! he's so cute! hahahaha.....Lenz and I really partied out hearts out and when DJ Joey G shouted " i wanna make a shout out to Szue May and her Inti college crew!!!!!" or somthing like that.......IT WAS ON man!!!! Partied and danced till there was no tomorrow!!! wakakakaka....it was fun until my friend wenying who's never clubbed before was dancing on the dance floor!!!!

Partied till the lights came on and it was closing time! so fun, we even managed to snaps some pics with Joey G! nice nice nice!!!!! He's so cute!!!! will upload the pics once i get them from Beesuan!


Reached INTI at around 5 something and by the time i touch the bed was already 6 something....and slept the WHOLE DAY!!!

I haven't posted pictures of my nephew in a while now, and he's almost 4 months now and grown sooooo much!!! he's so heavy now that carrying him for less than 5 minutes already "sui"

He loves to laugh and making him laugh is so easy...you just have to make some silly face and he will start giggling!! So Cute!!!

I'm still left with 2 more weeks!

This week past by so fast that I dont even realize it! Its a Friday!

The whole week, i've been trying to finish up all my lab journals and assignments as fast as possible so that i can actually sit down and start studying for my finals...For now, i'm done with all those and i can say that i can start studying for my finals. However, sadly to say that i dont think that 1 week is sufficient for me to study! I'll just hope and pray that whatever i studied during the whole semester is still there so i dont have to study too much!!!

Yesterday evening, 3 of my friends decided to do some exercise since we were so stressed out the whole week, and i can say it was a real good work out. We started out with badminton and later basketball. Actually we wanted to go for a swim but by the time we were done with our badminton, it was already too late to go for a swim as the swimming pool was already closing (yeah we were exercising in the dark). So we decided to play basketball. I haven't played basketball since Form 6 and it was fun. I think we laughed so much that we burnt extra calories!!! We had so much fun that we only stop playing aound 9.30pm...ahahaha..

Ended at 9.30pm and it was time to go home to rest and to start with the last leg of assignments!! Was really tired, but i was determined to get everything done. I finished everything about 2.30am and off to bed i went..zzzzzzzzzzzz

Today onwards, I have exactly one week to study 4 subjects (Microbiology, Immunology, Genetics and Moral Education). This is my last semester here and so i have to do my best so that i'll leave inti with satisfaction.

So where am i going after this? I'm still not 100% sure....still doing my application and research. So far, i've applied for University of Sunderland and Northumbria University. And Northumbria has already given me a conditional offer with scholarship. I'm glad with that, but i'm still waiting for the reply from Univerisity of Sunderland, because its kinda my first option. The time taking to wait for the reply exceptionally long because according to the representative, the officer in-charge in UK is on holiday!! SIGH....i really can't wait for the reply from Sunderland...I really hope to get in to the Pharmocology course there!!!!

I've stop applying for any Universities now so that i can concentrate with my studies. Will continue once my exams are over and i have all the time in the world!!

Ending this semester is really bittersweet. I'm glad that i'm finishing my 2nd year and going overseas to finish up my degree, but its sad to leave my friends here. Now, we are all getting very comfortable with each other and the environment...and its sad that we will be parting ways by the end of this semester. Some of them will be going to Australia and some of them will be going to UK. Thinking of going to a new place with no one is scary!! At first, a few of my friends were thinking of going to Uni of Sunderland but now some of them have changed their mind in the course that they want to take. So, it looks like that i'll be going there alone, if not maybe one or 2 of my friends will be joining me. However, going to some place new alone will definitely an eye-opener. making new friends will be fun and coping with the environment will be a challenge but i'm willing to face it!!! BRING IT ON!
